FAQ > Support > A store believes that they are missing transactions and that they are “stuck” at the lane.

If a system is set up for offline processing and transactions are taken and approved while offline to the host or the store server running WinEPS, the records for those transactions are stored locally on the server or at the lane. Normally, once the host or network connection is restored, these transactions will “forward” to the server and/or host for actual processing. There have been some cases where these transactions do not forward and they can stall at some point in the chain before they make it to the host. If there is ever a case where transactions are missing and thought to be “stuck” in this state, please contact MTXEPS Support so that we can troubleshoot the issue. We do not recommend that customers rename, copy or modify any of the offline processing files used by WinEPS and OpenEPS and if this does need to be done, it should be under the specific direction of our support staff.
